Troop 12 welcomes three new Eagles


Philip Duddy, Robert Heintjes and Joseph Mansonet -- members of Boy Scout Troop 12 -- have earned the Eagle Award, the Boy Scouts' highest honor.

To earn the Eagle Award, a Scout must be active with a troop, earn a minimum of 21 merit badges, assume a position of leadership within a troop and complete a service project that benefits the community.

Troop 12 Edison Celebrates Four New Eagle Scouts


Boy Scout Troop 12 of Edison recently held its annual Fred Langenohl Memorial Awards Dinner, where four Eagle Scouts from Edison and Metuchen were recognized. The troop is chartered by the Washington School PTO and belongs to the Raritan Valley District of the Patriots' Path Council.

Troop 12 Scouts in grades 5 through 12 have been serving the community since 1917. The following Scouts were celebrated for earning Scouting’s highest rank: Akshay Malik, Eli Hines, Patrick Reid and Liam Weeks.
